Well, it was cool to hear your voice anyway.
Rednecks in the southern US celebrate new years by shooting guns too...sometimes it's not good when they've had too much to drink either.

Wow you have great English!!! Loved hearing your voice. Here there are usually fireworks not so much gunfire. But as Tisha said here in the south give some one too many beers and a shotgun and who knows!!!
Where I live the shoot guns to celebrate holidays as well.It scares me to death.Almost every single one of my neighbors owns a gun.It is very big here in the south.
this is something that I'll never experience in my country, cos' for someone to possess a gun, except cops, would mean a life-time sentence.... its that safe over here... some say its boring... *eyes rolled*
