This was definitively not a good night for me.
As usual I went to bed around 2 am...From then till around 4 am, Eric spent the whole time crawling over me,kicking me,pushing away the blankets and pulling my hair...And yes,he was sleeping!But I wasn't!Thou I really wanted too!...
Then around 4am,Filipe (my 11 year old) got up complaining that his tummy was aching as well as his head...I gave him a Paracetamol pill and sent him to bed...
The kicking and pushing continued as I struggled to get some sleep...
6 am Filipe was up again throwing up and having diarrhea ...I thought he had to much to eat last night and once he had threw up he would probably feel better then...WRONG!...He kept having both symptoms and I gave him another pill for stopping the diarrhea...
8h30--Hubby returns home after one more night shift.I got up and fixed everyone's breakfast.
9am Eric woke up so my hopes of getting some rest completely vanished!...
10h30--Filipe rushed into the bathroom screaming for me.I was feeling kinda dozzy (maybe cause I didn't get ENOUGH SLEEP!)and took about 1 minute to realize that the kiddo was in trouble!
When I got there it was too late!!!I had poop all over my bathroom!!!On the wall! On the floor!Every where!Including in himself!
I put him in the bathtub and while he was having a shower, I cleaned up the mess!...
After that, I went to the grocery store to buy some chicken,coke and crackers...Chicken to make chicken soup...Coke cause it's good for stopping the diarrhea (yep!that's true!) and crackers cause apart from the chicken soup , the only thing he can have it's toasts, tea and crackers...At least for today!...
It's 8pm now...Kids are having dinner (the blessed chicken soup...again!)...
Me...Well...I'm ehxhausted!...Can't wait to put these little rascals to sleep!...

You poor girl! That IS a crappy night!! I hope he's feeling better tomorrow and you get a good nights' sleep tonight!
That is terrible I have been reading a lot of different blogs about this very thing.Must be a stomach flu going around.I hope it stays out of our house I HATE them.

I hope to had your rest after that exhausting day.
I also used Coke to take care of diarrhea when I was pregnant. It works better when you let the spirit out first. Banana and apple also works wonders.
promise me... get your boys to READ THIS when they are old enough! Get them to read it together and let them know how amazing their mommy is.
Oh, you poor thing. I hate nights like this.
