Still Dreaming About The Stars

Some days I wish I was still 13...Like today...On this pic I was 13 about to be 14...Man! I still remember how much I cried that day!...I cried of happiness...I was finally receiving my 'stars'!...After an entire year eagerly waiting for that day...After an entire year of training...1st Aids course...Drills!....After all the blood and tears...I was finally receiving my wonderful 'stars'!...
With those stars on my shoulders I could finally help people for real!....I could ride the ambulances as my colleagues could do...I could help them out during Summer time to put out fires!...Man! I was so proud of those stars...so proud of that uniform....And my Dad! Gosh! There were stars in his eyes too!...
I wish I was 13 again....I wish all my worries were still the same I had back then...
And those were not the only stars I dreamed about...The Star Spangled Banner was already a goal to achieve...And so many times I wished upon a shooting star to help me out fulfill my dream...
20 years later...And I'm still crying over those stars...It's so hard when you put all your heart into something and everyone seems to commend you for the good job you're doing and all you get is a tap on your shoulder and not the stars over what you've cried and bled for...
I cried today...It's a fact...And this time weren't tears of happiness... And my Dad ain't here no more to wipe them out for me...Now He has his own place among the stars and is watching over me...So I fell...But I'm up again...I shall continue walking...with a steady walk..Maybe even stronger...
Still dreaming about the stars....Still wanting to reach them...
Like they say...What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
And for the sake of my 3 lil'stars brought to this world I'm still holding on to that dream...I know that one day...maybe sooner than I expect my lucky star will shine again...

USA vs Brazil

The soccer match USA vs Brazil ended 10 minutes ago...
I'm so, but so very sad that I feel like crying...I can not believe that after having the advantage by 2 goals on the first half of the match the USA team just handed it to the Brazilians in a silver plate...I'm so furious!...Anyhow...The American team has proofed to the world that they have great players...And they should have win the Confederations Cup...
I really hope they win the World Cup next year in South Africa...
God bless the US Team!...God Bless America!...

Maddie-The truth of the lie :take 2

You girls know that hubby gave me this book about the Maddie McCann case.
I don't know if you remember my post about it...
About what I feel and think over this subject...The person who wrote
this book is the police inspector that was leading the investigation
and then was discharged of his duty with no reasonable explanation
(While the investigation was still on...)
I still wonder who are that couple to have so much POWER!...
I
could post a never ending number of that book passages to make my point
about this, but this one I'm posting here is pretty clear to
demonstrate my point of view...Here in Portugal we have this old saying
that goes like this: «To a good understander, half word is enough...»
This was a couple of weeks prior they became "arguidos" in the case...
The
investigators observed that there were 2 realities in the couple's
bedroom. On the Kate Healy side there were several pictures of the girl
on the wall all of them had either a rosary or a saint (like if they
were watching over the little girls soul). And on the  nightstand there
was a bible  with a saint picture marking this particular page of the
Old Testament (Samuel II,12th chapter):

«13David said to Nathan, ‘I have sinned against the Lord.’ Nathan said to David, ‘Now the Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die.
14Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord, the child that is born to you shall die.’
15Then Nathan went to his house.

The Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became very ill.
16David therefore pleaded with God for the child; David fasted, and went in and lay all night on the ground.
17The elders of his house stood beside him, urging him to rise from the ground; but he would not, nor did he eat food with them.
18On the seventh day the child died. And the
servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead; for
they said, ‘While the child was still alive, we spoke to him, and he
did not listen to us; how then can we tell him the child is dead? He
may do himself some harm.’
19But when David saw that his servants were
whispering together, he perceived that the child was dead; and David
said to his servants, ‘Is the child dead?’ They said, ‘He is dead.’

20 Then David rose from the ground, washed, anointed himself, and changed his clothes. He went into the house of the Lord, and worshiped; he then went to his own house; and when he asked, they set food before him and he ate.
21Then his servants said to him, ‘What is this
thing that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while it
was alive; but when the child died, you rose and ate food.’
22He said, ‘While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, “Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me, and the child may live.”
23But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.’

24 Then David consoled his wife Bathsheba, and went to her, and lay with her; and she bore a son, and he named him Solomon. The Lord loved him,
25and sent a message by the prophet Nathan; so he named him Jedidiah, because of the Lord

On Gerry side of the room there was nothing related to the
girl...Just some books that made the investigators go like :"what????"
  • Missing and abducted children: a law enforcement guide
  • Training Courses, CEOP (SERIOUS ORGANIZED CRIME AGENCY-CHILD EXPLOITATION AND ONLINE PROTECTION)
  • Making Every Child Matter, CEOP
This books are RESERVED  to law enforcement agents ONLY!How did he got them??.....

Holly Molly!!!!

While net surfing , hubby found this article.
My 1st thought was :"Jesus Christ!!!That's a freaking huge crawler!!!!"
And thou it represents no danger to the Human Species, if I had something like that over my place I'd get out of here just as fast as a lightening strike!
Check this picture out!!!

While frequently very large – in Laos, Heteropoda maxima males can attain a legspan of 250–300 mm (9.8–11.8 in) – they are (like the vast majority of spiders) not deadly to humans. They do bite if provoked, but the victim will suffer only minor swelling and localized pain, and will recover in a day or two. Some larger types resemble tarantulas, and may be mistaken for them, as the Huntsman is related (which is why the term "Australian tarantula" has sometimes been used to describe them by the Natural History Museum in Sydney). Huntsman spiders can generally be identified by their legs, which, rather than being jointed vertically relative to the body, are twisted such that the legs extend forward in a crab-like fashion.

Many Huntsman spiders are dull shades of brown or grey. Their legs are covered with fairly prominent spines, but the rest of their bodies appear smooth. They are frequently found in sheds, garages and other infrequently-disturbed places. The Banded Huntsman (Holconia) is larger and grey to brown with striped bands on its legs. The Badge Huntsman (Neosparassus) is larger still, and brown and hairy. Its bite will inflict the worst injury, and local swelling and pain may cause nausea, headache, vomiting and heart palpitations. The tropical or Brown Huntsman (Heteropoda) is also large and hairy, with mottled brown, white and black markings. The eyesight of these spiders is not nearly as good as that of the Salticidae (jumping spiders). Nevertheless, their vision is quite sufficient to detect approaching humans or other large animals from some distance.

Habitat and distribution

Members of the Huntsman family of spiders are very common in Australia, but also in many tropical and semi-tropical parts of the world. They have been introduced to many parts of the world, including China, Japan and southern parts of the United States, such as Florida and Puerto Rico. A species of Huntsman can be found in Hawaii, where it is commonly known as a Cane Spider. In general they are likely to be found wherever ships may bring them as unintended passengers to areas that are not too cold for them to survive in the winter. In southern Africa they are commonly known as rain spiders because of their tendency to seek shelter before rain storms, often entering human habitations when doing so.[1][2]

As adults, Huntsman spiders do not build webs, but hunt and forage for food: their diet consists primarily of insects and other invertebrates. They live in the crevices of tree bark, but will frequently wander into homes and vehicles. They are able to travel extremely fast, and walk on walls and even on ceilings. They also tend to exhibit a "cling" reflex if picked up, making them difficult to shake off and much more likely to bite. The females are fierce defenders of their egg sacs and young. They will generally make a threat display if provoked, but if the warning is ignored they may attack and bite.

Toxicity and aggression

In general, Huntsman spiders are not regarded as dangerous, and can be considered beneficial because they feed on insects. (Many Australians will relocate Huntsman spiders to the garden rather than kill them.) There have been reports of members of the genus Neosparassus (formerly called Olios) giving bites that have caused prolonged pain, inflammation, headache, vomiting and irregular pulse rate; however, a scientific study into the bite of these spiders did not note any severe or unusual symptoms resulting from confirmed Neosparassus bites.[3] It is unclear under what circumstances these spiders bite people, but it is known that female members of this family will aggressively defend against perceived threats to their egg sacs and their young.

9/11-We will never forget!...

This will be a day that I'll never forget...
It was my day off...
I was home with the kids...
I was cooking lunch and the news where on...
My husband said:"Something is happening in New York"....
I ran to the living room and watched live...
The 2nd plane hitting the Second Tower...
And the Towers coming down....
I screamed at the top of my lungs...
I cried like if my life ended there...
7 years later I still have dreams with plane's crashes...
Today my US flag it's outside...

Can I run for president too?Or at least to VP?...

Here's my campaign!

If I had a time machine...

If I had a time machine I'd like to go to the 50's and 60's. I think that's my favorite time ever.
Woman were glamorous but yet simple...Men were good-looking but yet equipped with an overdue kind of mentality...
I'd loved to have lived my days as a teenager back then...
That music...The romance...The clothes....The cars...The drive-ins...And the dreams!...
Everyone were full of dreams!...
I was chocked when one of these days my niece (who is 21 years old) was saying to her mom (who is 41!) that she was too old to have dreams?!?!Is there an age were we are supposed to stop dreaming?!?!
I told her:" Honey don't forget you'll be my age soon!Time fly by really fast you'll see.And if by then you are not able to dream any longer, it's cause you're dead inside yourself."
My dreams keep me alive...My dreams keep me positive towards life's ups and downs...
What about you?Do you still dream?
Or have you gave up on that?

What the F****?!?!?!?!?!?

I was going through some cool sites when I saw this news in a Brazilian news paper!
I couldn't believe it and to be honest I thought it was some kinda prank!...
I decided to search deeper into it and found out it actually happened!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The world is going crazy these days!........

Check this out:

Still don't have a clue of what is it???

«Man stuck trying to have sex with bench»

A "lonely and disturbed" Hong Kong man had to call police to try and free him after his penis got stuck in a park bench he had apparently tried to have sex with, reports said.

Emergency workers took four hours trying to free Le Xing after he attempted to use a hole in the exercise bench to masturbate in a deserted park after dark, the Apple Daily and other papers reported.

Eventually they had to take him to hospital with the bench's 2.5-metre-long metal base still attached to him after attempts to free him by draining blood from his penis failed.

Doctors said the 42-year-old was lucky to still have a penis after the embarrassing incident, reported in lurid detail by several Chinese-language papers here.

Photographs showed rescue workers carrying him to an ambulance on the metal sheet, covered in a red blanket.

This my friends, with all due respect for my Asiatic fellows, only goes to proof that what it's said about Asiatic men!.....

If that guy had some African blood running in his vain he wouldn't even be able to get his pinkie finger stuck in it! LOL!!!!It would be too thick and big for it!LOL!!!

Tarot Reading

A couple of weeks ago I read at Crazy Working Mom blog that she had the cards read for her by Lady Rose at Stir the Cauldron .
I like this sort of things!I use to read the cards for my friends when I was younger.
So I asked Lady Rose to read them for me.
This is what she says:

«Cards: The Empress, Temperance, 9 of Wands Deck used: Rider-Waite Tarot

Be open up to the perfect and unconditional love that surrounds you, allow your inner qualities of gentleness and affection to flow outward, be true to your graciousness and elegance. Do not let the harshness of life cause you to succumb to apathy and plod through the day. Instead find reasons to celebrate. There is abundance in the world that is free for you to enjoy. Take time to reconnect with Mother Earth, take time to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and strengthen your creative powers. Do not let yourself get caught up in the hectic pace around you. By connecting with your inner beauty and creativity, you will find all the inner strength you need, as well as joy and inspiration. (Note: The Empress can often herald the conception or the birth of a child).

Now is a time to make peace with yourself, to find the inner balance within that will lead to achieving harmony in your relationships with people and the world around you, embrace moderation and go with the flow. Life is not all good, nor is it all bad, accepting this and moving forward is where true inner wisdom and power come from. Be optimistic, with a firm foundation in reality.

You are facing the last ordeal, the last hill to be climbed, but remember fighting is not always the best answer. Often true courage is in waiting, and finding a solution through wisdom. You have made it this far, remember all obstacles can be overcome. Do not let what seems to be a block in the road to stop you from achieving your goal. Reach deep down inside and know that you can make this last hurdle and reach your goal. Know that admist the greatest of darknesses, your inner strength starts to shine, lighting the way to victory.

Goddess Guidance Oracle Card - Butterfly Maiden (Transformation) "You are experiencing enormous change right now, which brings great blessings. Do not be concerned with endings, they are bringing in the new for you. Let go of the old. These changes really are for the best for you."

Bright Blessings, Lady Rose»

What do you think?I think it fits me well!
