Back from Africa...

My MIL just returned from Mozambique after a 3 months vacations trip!Boy was I jealous!
My husband's entire family (including him) is from Mozambique, so every 2 years she goes there.
She's a sweetie and she always bring me cool items.
So I'm posting some pics of what she brought this time.




This next one goes out to proof you that every body knows how serious I am about my dream.LOL!
And you should see the beautiful African gown she gave me!
Maybe I'll take a couple of pics to show you.
I hope that some day me, my hubby and the kids are able to have this vacations as well.It's way too expensive so...Who knows ...right?!

Due to all requests...

Once you've been so kind to me and asked me politely to head on over your houses and clean it up,I'm packing up my stuff and leaving right away!...
I wish!
Don't you think that I don't do it because I don't want to...I just still ain't got the chance!
I've reached this point in my life where any kind of work (well, not ANY kind you know what I mean!?...) abroad is acceptable... LOL!
Anyway,I just wanna say thanks to all my blog mates for being so nice to me!You guys rock!
I know that I'm kind of new at this blogging thing, but I'm doing my best to keep up with you.
I 'm also aware that my English may not be perfect so I hope you can forgive my misspelling words and so.
You see, after graduating from high-school I got married and built up my family, therefor didn't have the chance to go to college.
But this doesn't mean that someday in the future I won't do it!
I truly believe that I'll do it in a country that fits my personality and life style and in that day I'll be completely fulfilled.
So to all my blog mates/friends (what ever fits you better) I wish a life full of blessings and happiness.

Crazy Funky Cleaning!...

Yep...Today I decided to do it a little bit funkier than usual!
I grabbed the duster, vacuum cleaner, broom and all possible cleaning gear, turned my stereo on and cleaned up my entire house in a very funky way!LOL!
If you have to do it, why not do it in a funnier style?!
With a cool Hip-Hop beat (Usher,Chris Brown,Justin Timberlake [This kiddo got such a moves!],Ferggie,Mary J Blige, etc...) I danced and cleaned all around!Remember "Baby" in "Dirty Dancing" climbing up and down that stairs, doing all those poses and funny faces?Yep...Put a duster on her hand and you got me doing my cleanings!LOL!
All I can tell is that with all that "shake that a****" belly dancing hip-hop crazy moves, I got the job done !
Now all I need is a cup of hot coffee and a nice massage!...
OH oh!OH no!Can't believe it's almost dinner time!...
Well, here I go again...

Anyway, here it goes:

1. I always have to match the clothes pins when I'm putting the laundry to dry.
2. I wear my three engagement rings (dating, engagement and marriage) in the same finger.
3. At the age of 13 I worked in a fire department and assisted 2 babies to be born.
4. I started to speak English at the age of 5,despite being Portuguese... (25 years ago the first contact with English language was in the 5th grade of school.)
5. I always felt misplaced...
6. I love to iron baby clothes but hate to iron the whole rest!

Danças Quentes "When the music is Hot"

Eu adoro música!...
Acho que nem saberia viver sem ela!
O meu gosto é muito variado e depende muito do meu estado de espírito.
Desde o R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop,Reggae, Ragga, Salsa,Música Africana, Pop,Rock,Blues, Country,Música clássica e por aí em diante...
Não gosto de música Portuguesa de uma forma geral...
Nem tão pouco aprecio Heavy metal e afins...
Tenho que admitir que tenho o meu estilo preferido, sendo ele a Música Africana e o Hip-Hop.
Aliás, eu penso que é quase impossivel escutar Música Africana sem que esta se entranhe em todos os nossos poros!
Adicionei agora no Blog 2 músicas para vos dar um gostinho...
Oiçam com o som alto e fechem os olhos...Deixem se levar pelos ritmos quentes e imaginem tudo o que esta música vos faz sentir...

I'm not very picky about music, so I like about everything.It depends mostly on my mood and the way I'm feeling at that moment...
From R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ragga, Salsa, African Music, Pop, Rock, Blues, Country to Classic Music and so on...
I do not like (at all) Portuguese Music...
Nor Heavy Metal...
I have to say that I do have my favorite styles thou, and that would be African Music and Hip-Hop.
In fact, it's almost impossible to listen to African Music and not feel touched by it.
It kind of gets into you...
I've added to my blog 2 audio clips to give you a taste of it...
Turn on your speakers (loud LOL), close your eyes and let yourselves be driven by the hot rhythms...Imagine all that this music makes you feel and enjoy it...
